Alexa, show the front door.
ViewBridge is a privacy-first project that allows viewing your security cameras on a supported Alexa device, such as the Amazon Echo Show®, Amazon Fire TV® as well as selected TVs with Alexa support built-in.
ViewBridge is developed as donation-supported software, not as a commercial hosted camera service. Amazon Fire TV, Alexa, Echo Spot and Echo Show are registered trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. This Project is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon.
Support the project
Keep ViewBridge
open and local.
ViewBridge is supported by donations. Contributions help cover the practical cost of developing, hosting, testing, and maintaining the project.
There is no subscription or paid camera service behind this page. Support is optional and does not change the local-first architecture.

Some future links to Echo devices or related products may be Amazon affiliate links. If you buy through one of those links, ViewBridge may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links help support the project and do not change the price you pay.
Integrate your security cameras
Many IP cameras can provide an RTSP stream inside a home network. Echo devices use their own discovery and stream-initialization interfaces. The two systems do not connect directly.
ViewBridge adds a small gateway that translates the camera's configured local path into the endpoint your Echo device can discover. It is meant to solve that specific integration problem without adding a general-purpose video relay, cloud storage or multiple vendor specific integrations.
Our security model
Keep secrets and media outside the cloud.
While similar services need you to upload camera credentials to the cloud, ViewBridge keeps them local. The cloud coordinates access; the gateway owns the camera connection and local media path.
